A contest!

I have started three new oils in the past few weeks.  An Arnica Oil for an Arnica Salve.  A Calendula Oil for a Calendula Salve.

And, another I was called to do for a pain-relieving salve containing Plantain, Chickweed, Self-Heal, White Willow Bark, Lavender and Calendula.  This feels right as far as what went in it and it was based on messages given to me from several people.

Three different people said on three separate occasions that they have heard of a salve that has White Willow Bark in it.  So, that’s a definite hint (better than the cosmic 2×4 hitting me) that I need to make a salve with White Willow Bark.

I also had some Calendula oil stashed away for an occasion and this seemed to be the right time to use it.  Of course, making additional Calendula Oil for salves seemed right, too.  🙂
