Retiring soon!

We are not retiring, but some of our varieties of soaps are…

Several months ago, one of our suppliers for fragrance oils mentioned that he is retiring, and they will close their doors as supplies run out. Earth Circle Creations has been using this supplier for more than 15 years and before we read the announcement, we had not considered other suppliers.

As a result, we are going to have to shake things up a little such as scents and some fragrances. Some, a little more than others as we will have to discontinue some items as fragrance oils will be hard to come by. Others, such as patchouli have dramatically increased in price (from $10-25 per 4 ounce bottle of patchouli essential oil to as much as nearly $70 per 4 ounce bottle of patchouli essential oil) which makes making that particular batch beyond being economical. This has nothing to do with the retirement of my supplier, nor the tariffs coming down the lane, but rather a shortage on patchouli essential oil because the area where patchouli is grown and process has had an issue with flooding

We are looking for other quality suppliers that we can rely on for not only affordable prices, but exceptional quality that would be comparable to the quality we have had for many years. We have a good thing going, we don’t want to ruin that.

As a result, some of our varieties of soaps will be temporarily retired from our rotation, while others will come into view to give them a try, and hopefully they will become new favorites.
