Heading to year ten, and beyond.

Year Nine
Year Nine

These past nine years have been something else, and the journey has been one where I could have hardly imagined I would be at this point, nine years later.

This October will mark the nine-year anniversary of Earth Circle Creations. I remember the moment leading up to zero-hour, “I have a web page and it is never going to be perfect.” And then I thought to myself, “It is perfect now, and I can modify it later”. I took the plunge. I jumped in feet-first, thought to myself saying, “what the hell” and allowed my website to be seen by the world. Had I waited until it was perfect, I don’t think I would have released it, and it certainly wouldn’t have taken off the way I had dreamed. Not in a million years.

It started with taking a pendulum and dowsing class in 2001 and getting a taste of what was going on in this new world (for me).

Fast forward to 2006 and dipping into the vending world: I started with several trays of ear candles from paraffin to beeswax to blends of essential oils and only did the occasional outdoor event.

I had also begun an inquiry fo

Later, the herbs and tinctures started to “tap” me on the shoulder. I also started my foray into making infused oil salve at this time. Not too long after that, while placing an order for supplies, I needed to top off that order to receive free shipping, so I added a few salt lamps, just to try them out, and they did well. I now order 30-40 good quality salt lamps twice a year to prepare for my larger shows.

About 4 years ago, I had a bug placed in my ear from a friend saying, “you should have soap”. So I took a class with a friend, purchased some molds just to have it on the side, and the rest is history. The soaps are now my biggest sellers and occupy much of my time.

Looking forward to year ten, and beyond… I can hold this pattern, or continue to explore. I also have a couple of books in mind to write. I’ll see what this year will bring.
